Our Story: The City Market, Reimagined
Souk Al Balad means “the city market.” We’re a family here in Atlanta, and we started it with a simple wish: one place where you can get everything on your list, from pantry staples to home and personal care, without the pile of plastic that usually comes with it.
Plastic is a big part of why we’re doing this. We look for products in plastic-free, reusable or compostable packaging, and we’ll ship your orders in paper or compostable packaging wherever we can. Small swaps add up, and we want to make them easy.
We think you should know what you’re buying, so we’ll always tell you where each product comes from and who made it.
